What We Expect?

Module – 1

We believe that each and everyone of us is fighting a war within ourselves. Every day is a challenge, every minute a battle and we are all pawns of the game called ‘life’.

We want you to BUILD STORIES on how external pressures like peer pressure, society expectations, family restrictions play a role in radicalization of young minds. Stories SHOULD HIGHLIGHT the realistic aftermath of these extremist activities which disrupt peace and harmony in society. You must PRESENT LESSONS learnt in a clear way for the readers to understand that how to respond in such situations.

سبز = سکون

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of content can I submit?

It is a theme based competition so strictly adhere to the theme. The theme for competition is ‘A War Within’ and you have to ensure that your content strictly revolves around this theme. If you have questions or problem in understanding theme then message us on our facebook page, we will guide you.

Do I have to submit in both Modules to participate?

NO! It is optional for you to participate in one or both modules. We want to do something for Urdu writers too therefore we launched this separate module for them.

I have already published the content on my blog, Can I submit it?

No. We are looking for original stories and previously published work will be disqualified.

What will disqualify my submission?

Here is a list of things which you need to be aware of

  1. Plagiarism (if found) will result in rejection of content.
  2. Under limit (i.e. less than 4000 words) or over limit (i.e. more than 6000 words) content. We do have a margin of 500 words for both the limits but failure to adhere will result in immediate disqualification.
  3. Sexually explicit content or profane language will not be accepted.
  4. Avoid defaming political parties, public figures or government.
What increases my chances of winning?

Just focus on one thing i.e. LOCAL CONTENT. We want to hear stories with Pakistani characters and Pakistani plots. Discuss local problems faced by an average Pakistani citizen.

How they face those challenges and how they overcome it.

If you can nail this point then you are a sure winner.
