Both the writers received<em> special marketing<\/em> from the forum <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mydaastan\/\">Daastan<\/a>. Her novel was <em><strong>50,000 words long<\/strong><\/em>, and for a teenager it was extremely well written. The novel was based on the <em>fantasy genre<\/em>, featuring real life and legendary myths of werewolves. The team campaigned extensively for her<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/1591137457766627\/posts\/2070595713154130\/?__tn__=H-R\"> crowdfunding, <\/a>to bring her story to print. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"894\" height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/daastan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/My-Were-Story-Sameen-Irshad.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4660\" srcset=\"https:\/\/daastan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/My-Were-Story-Sameen-Irshad.jpg 894w, https:\/\/daastan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/My-Were-Story-Sameen-Irshad-279x300.jpg 279w, https:\/\/daastan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/My-Were-Story-Sameen-Irshad-768x825.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 894px) 100vw, 894px\" \/><figcaption> A 14 year old, Ms. Sameen, authors a 50,000 words novel &#8211; My Were- Story <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>The Next Khalid Hosseini: <\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Next in line came the youngest author of Kashmir, a <em>22-year old lady<\/em> named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meraqissa.com\/ayeshaskhan27\"><strong>Ms. Ayesha Siddique<\/strong><\/a>, who wrote a story based in Afghanistan titled<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meraqissa.com\/book\/510\">&#8220;The Freezing Point&#8221;<\/a><\/em>. With accurate<em> eerie imagery<\/em> and use of <em>Pashto <\/em>language for someone who had neither visited the country, nor could speak the language. Her novel was remarkable in its writing style as it brought to mind <em><strong>the approach of the best-selling author Khalid Hosseini<\/strong><\/em>. It was a heart wrenching <em>coming of age<\/em> story, that highlighted the way <em>terrorism <\/em>and <em>extremism <\/em>had ravaged what was before a country that housed beauty. The <em>author\u2019s work was brought to print through crowdfunding<\/em>.
