A thematic poetry competition which aims to shed light on individual’s experiences throughout the pandemic and lockdown.

OurStory
Over the past year and a half, our lives have been thrown into unprecedented turmoil due to the covid-19 outbreak of 2020. This has been a time of great struggle and tragedy, in which many of our lives have been negatively affected. However, during this time we have witnessed the emergence of ‘quick response art’ as many of our favourite authors and poets have written and published their thoughts on the global pandemic.

Submission Process
The submissions are open from 12th July 2021 to 20th July 2021. Results will be announced on 30th July 2021. Daastan is accepting the Haiku on three themes: nature, relationships and mental health.
