THE JUNGLE CHAOS

Prologue

Thomas was very hungry and thirsty. His friends had given him a challenge to pass the jungle of death without any accouterments in order to win 1000 gold coins. He accepted the challenge but now he was cursing himself for this foolish game which was costing him his life. He dragged himself more into the dense jungle and was hearing strange noises from different directions. Soon he heard rippling water , his lost strength again aggravated to go to that sight to see any trace of water. When he reached the spot he saw a water stream and plants of black berries in front of him. “ Oh thank God I have found food and water,” cried Thomas.

He ran towards the stream to drink and after drinking pure water he wolfed down the black berries from the nearby plants. He then sat near the stream of water but the jungle was full of eerie noises. Suddenly he heard the growl which was so loud that he jumped to his feet and ran behind the nearest tree trembling feverishly. Soon he heard the loud growl behind him , his legs trembled and when he turned around he saw a six legged giant with a spear in its hand.  Thomas screamed and started running into the dense jungle in order to save himself but the twelve foot giant suddenly came in front of him aiming its spear towards him.

HOW DARE YOU ENTER MY KINGDOM bellowed the Giant who had a head of Minotaur. 

“ O mighty giant, please forgive me and let me leave this jungle.” Thomas collapsed and begged for mercy .

NO MERCY FOR TRESPASSING by saying this the giant lifted his three legs to crush Thomas to death. 

The Hero

Hieeyaa!, Peter  ducked and kicked the left leg of his opponent Drake causing him to fall flat to the ground. Drake lost his balance and crashed to the ground as his sword swirled in the air and hit the nearest tree. Immediately Peter jumped to his feet and pointed his sword at his opponent’s throat. The people who were watching this match clapped and roared loudly, “ PETER THE WARRIOR”.

Peter bowed in front of the audience and then helped Drake to climb to his feet.

“ You are really an expert sword boy Peter ,” said Drake.

“ Thank you but you are also a worthy opponent there was a point when I thought that you would turn the game to your side that’s really commendable,” Replied Peter.

Soon they heard the clopping of the horses they both turned around and saw men in uniforms coming towards them on their horses.

“ What do they want from us Drake,.? " said Peter.

“ Donoo Peter,” replied Drake.

The army men came near them and one soldier who was wearing a golden helmet with accolades on his uniform dismounted his horse and declared “ I am captain William, and the king’ s wise wizard wants to meet you Peter.”

“ Have we done anything wrong sir?” asked Peter

“ No Peter but you will know once you reach the castle.” Replied William

“ are you ready.?”

“ Yes i have no other option I guess let’s go.” said Peter, William asked Peter to mount his horse with him before  they trotted towards the castle.

The Wizard

After a few moments they reached the castle draw bridge. The castle was huge, constructed with black and white marble stones with gold linings between them. The cerellnations were on the five sides of the building where archers were standing alert to counter any problems. The gargantuan gates of the building were made of bronze metal. When they crossed the drawbridge the gates were opened by ten guards. Two large columns embellished with bougainvillea were adding beauty to the castle building. Soon they entered the throne room which was highly decorated with festoons of coloured golden pearls and the throne was made of pure gold. Peter was amazed to see all this but was confused to see the empty throne . An old man wearing green robes was standing beside it.

“Welcome Peter I am glad to see you , let me introduce myself. I am Avious the good wizard to King Henry.” said the wizard
