About the Author
Kayenat Hameed Khan is Peshawar’s first spoken word poet who started her career as a slam artist from Words and Metaphors in Nov 2017. Before that she was known for writing scripts for short plays and skits in her college and university. Poetry is something which she inherited from her father who used to write Pashtu poetry in his free time. Apart from that she also has been associated with Young Women Writers’ Forum and Startup Grind Peshawar.
Kayenat dreams of opening a school for slam artists where young artists can showcase their talents and enable them to perform globally.
